Mrs. Molly M. Smith, age 86 of Deann, Arkansas passed away, Tuesday, March 18, 2014, in Hillcrest Nursing Home in Prescott. She was born in Okolona, Arkansas on February 14, 1928 to Harvey Lee and Daisy Lee Copeland Johnson. Mrs. Smith was a member of White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Deann. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother that loved to work in her yard. She loved to quilt and go square dancing with the Hope Melonaires. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, of 49 years, Gordon Smith, a son; Gerald Wayne Smith, a brother; Harold Johnson and two sisters; Mary May and Florence Jackson. Survivors include; son; William Smith, wife, Nina of Deann, two daughters; Joyce Smith, husband, Henry of Deann and Deborah Thomas of California, three grandchildren; Allen Smith, Theresa Sisson and Joey Smith, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren. The Smith Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope. Graveside service for Mrs. Smith will be 10:00am, Friday, March 21, 2014 at White Oak Grove Cemetery in the DeAnn Community, with Bro. John Nations officiating.
