Sister Nealy Young, age 87 of Rosston, Arkansas passed away, Thursday, June 11, 2015 at her home in Rosston. She was born April 20, 1928 in Rosston, Arkansas to Oscar and Ella Belle Dansby Gulley. Sister Nealy Young united with the Oak Grove Baptist Church at an early age and served as President of the Senior Choir for over twenty years. She was a Deaconess and faithful until her health failed her. Sister Young was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elmer Lee Young Sr., one son, Jessie Young, nine brothers; Ennis Gulley, Elmer Peoples, Geeter Lemon, Tommy Gulley, Agustus Gulley, Teotis Gulley, John Henry Gulley, Willie Gulley, Jimmy Lee Gulley, three sisters; Dealey Young, R.B. Marshall, Mattie Tate. Sister Young leaves to mourn her passing; two sons; Elmer Young Jr., wife, Gloria, of Rosston, Arkansas, James Young, wife, Opagene, of Rosston, Arkansas, one daughter, Carolyn Bishop, husband, Jerry, of Rosston, Arkansas, fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Family wake will be 6:00-7:00pm, Thursday June 18, 2015 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott, Arkansas. Funeral Service will be 11:00am, Friday June 19, 2015 at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Bethel Cemetery in the Oak Grove Community.
