Mrs. Nellie Hicks Callicott,84, of McCaskill, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2007, in Medical Park Hospital, Hope, Arkansas. She was born on February 10, 1923, to Monroe and Effie Green Hicks. She was a homemaker, a preachers wife, a member of Friendship United Methodist Church of McCaskill, Ark., U.M.W. group and U.M.W. guild, M.Y.F. Leader, a member of the Garden Club, and a former Eastern Star member in Lockesburg, Ark. She was preceded by her husband, Rev. J.R. Pete Callicott, who died August 28, 2005 and by four brothers, Bobby, Larry, Hilton and Leo Hicks. Her Survivors Include: One Daughter: Barbara Barber and Jerald, McCaskill, Ark. Two Brothers: Rev. Raymond Hicks, Caney, Ark. Adron Dobber Hicks, Waterloo, Ark. Three Sisters: Inez Callicott, Caney, Ark. Elsie Picky Kale, McCaskill, Ark. Bonnie Haynes, Prescott, Ark. Three Grandchildren: Tonya Boydstun, Mena, Ark. Cindy Heagwood, McCaskill, Ark. Steven Petey Barber, Liberty Eylau, TX. And Six Great-Grandchildren. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 29, 2007, Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel, Prescott, Ark., with Dr. Tandy Hanson and Rev. Gene Ross officiating.
