Nicholas Cole Newton, infant son of Sharla Nichols and Zane Newton of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away, Monday, September 23, 2013. Nicholas was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Gilbert Johnson, paternal great-grandparents, Jerry and Senora Haney, paternal great-grandfather, Junior Newton. Nicholas is survived by his parents, Zane Newton and Sharla Nichols of Prescott, paternal grandparents, Jim and Carol Newton of Prescott, maternal grandparents, Tammy and Buckley Nichols of Prescott, maternal great-grandparents, Sue Johnson of Prescott, and Betty St. Clair of Prescott, and paternal great-grandmother, Juanita Newton of Prescott. Graveside service will be 2:00pm, Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Piney Grove Cemetery in Prescott, with Bro. Doug Higginbothom officiating.
