Mr. Niles Thomas Stockton, age 59, of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013, in Prescott. He was born March 14, 1954, in Camden, Arkansas to James Thomas and Joan Chambless Stockton. He was employed as a Saw Filer at Georgia Pacific in Gurdon and a member of the Prescott Church of Christ. Mr. Stockton was a truly giving person and loved to hunt, collect guns and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walker and Fannie Chambless and his paternal grandparents, Jim and Iba Stockton. Mr. Stockton is survived by his parents, James and Joan Stockton of Prescott, a brother, Nat Stockton and wife Beverly of Prescott, a sister, Pam Gregory and husband Mark of McCaskill, Arkansas, several nieces and nephews, his two beloved dogs, Zach and Trudy, numerous other family members and a host of friends. Graveside service for Mr. Stockton will be 4:00 pm, Saturday, May 11, at Beards Chapel Cemetery in DeAnn, Arkansas, Mr. Paul Robison officiating.
