Mrs. Norma Byrd, Age 70 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Monday, July 10, 2017, in a local hospital.  Mrs. Byrd was born in Hope, Arkansas on September 28, 1946 to James Horace and Mildred Laseter Tye.  She was a retired State Farm Insurance Company Life Agent and an Administrative Assistant. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Hope, an avid quilter and she was also a lover of cats.  She is preceded in death by her parents; James Horace and Mildred Tye.

Mrs. Byrd is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bill Byrd, Jr. of Hope, son; John Byrd also of Hope, daughter; Kristy Murch, her husband, Scott of Bentonville, Arkansas, a sister; Lynda Wright (Ed) of Hope, two grandchildren; Jessi Murch (Zach) of Rogers, AR and Ashley Murch of Bentonville, AR, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will 2:00pm on Friday, July 14, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, starting at 1:00pm.  Rev.
