Mr. Norman Ray Steele, 72 of Hope passed away, Thursday, August 23, 2012 in Little Rock. He was born June 6, 1940 in Prescott, Arkansas to Arnold and Gladys Montgomery Steele. He is a retired truck driver, a veteran of the US Army and a member of Old Liberty Community Church at Crossroads. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 25 years, Mary Avis Steele, brothers; Robert and Jerry Steele and sister; Linda. Survivors include; his wife, Betty Steele of Hope, son, Allen Arnold and wife, Jenny of Murfreesboro, three daughters; Belinda Gaines, husband, Mike of Hope, Cheryl Arnold Daniels, husband, Wayne of Hope and Candy Arnold Womack, husband, Robert of Nashville, brother; Danny Steele of Homa, LA, sister; Sue Ward of Prescott, 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The Steele Family will receive friends, 6:00 to 8:00pm, Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott. Funeral service for Mr. Steele; 2:00pm, Sunday, August 26, at Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home in Prescott. Burial will follow in Nubbin Hill Cemetery in Prescott. Bro. Charles Hawley will officiate.
