Patricia Catherine Glazier Faris of Hope, Arkansas went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 18, 2011. She was born in Queensland, Australia, on November 13, 1926 to Henry Edward and Plendia Elizabeth. She traveled to America aboard the Mariposa war-bride ship after marrying her eternal soul mate in Brisbane, Australia during World War II on March 17, 1946. She was a devout Catholic and the longest standing member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church. Everyone who met her was instantly loved by her and all were affectionately know as Love . She was very loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and will be forever missed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Don Emmett Faris, her parents, brother Kelvin, sister Beverly and her longtime special friend, Lola Golden. She is survived by her daughters; Sharon and John Wilson, Pam and Jerry Miller all of Hope, Arkansas, sister Margaret and Herb Pereira, brothers Michael and Doris Vagg and John Vagg all of Australia, sisters-in-law, Louise Powell, June Newton, Betty Walden, grandchildren John David and Angie Wilson, Steven Miller, Kelly and Russell Cornelius, Diana and Dennis Hovarter, Jodi and Ben Perkins, Paul and Allison Wilson, Adam Wilson, great-grandchildren, Jacob, Chelsee, Zack, Jordan, Garrett, Jack, Grace, Logan, Wynn and 3 on the way all of Hope, Arkansas. There will be a Rosary, 6:00 to 7:00pm, visitation; 6:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Funeral Mass will be 10:00am, Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church in Hope with Father Felix Okey Alaribe officiating.
