Mrs. Patsy Nell Bright, age 75 of Hope, passed away, Monday, June 16, 2014 at Hope Haven Retirement with her family by her side. She was born on February 13, 1939 in Nashville, Arkansas to H.C. and Nellie McClane Brooks. Mrs. Bright was a retired U.S. Census Bureau employee as a Field Interviewer, a home maker and a member of Unity Baptist Church in Hope. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a friend to all that knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, William C. Bright, son, Jay Ricky McKamie, brother; M. Daniel Brooks, three sisters; Janie Chance, Annie Ruth Ulrich and Bessie Mae Grant. Her survivors include; fours sons; Scooter McKamie, wife Christina of Saratoga, Arkansas, Jerry McKamie, wife, Renee of Hope, Eddie McKamie of Hope and A.J. McKamie, wife Lynn of Gallatin, TN, two daughters; Jennifer McKamie of Sheridan and Tanya Dianne Sellier of Gonzales, LA, brother; Ed Brooks of Hope and sister; June Reese of Hope, 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren other family members and friends. Visitation, 6:00 to 8:00pm, Wednesday, June 18 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Funeral service, 10:00am, Thursday, June 19 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
