MR. PAUL M. ( MICKEY ) HOLT, 60, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2009, as a result of an automobile accident in Hope, Arkansas. He was born on October 21, 1948, in Nashville, Arkansas to Paul B. And Thelma Ola Thomas Holt. He was a construction worker in New York and Pennsylvania; a Baptist minister having pastored for 34 + years in the states of Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois, Louisiana, Texas and returning to Arkansas in 1987 to then retire in 2002; a bail bondsman; former teacher at University of Arkansas Community College at Hope and the Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas at DeQueen, Arkansas and currently Industrial Equipment Maintenance Instructor at Career Academy of Southern Arkansas University - Tech. in conjuction with Magnolia High School 11th and 12th graders in Magnolia, Arkansas. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hope, Arkansas; member of American Welding Society; and Arkansas Assoc. for Career and Technical Educ. He was preceded in death by his parents. HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE: His wife: ( of 40 years) Belinda Browning Holt, Hope, Ark. One Son: John-Paul Holt and Cheri, Independence, Missouri. One Daughter: Rebecca Holt, Atlanta, Georgia. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2009, First Baptist Church, Hope, Arkansas, with Rev. Mark Fischer and Rev. Charles Jones officiating.
