Mr. Paul Douglas Spell, age 82 of Laneburg, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024, in Texarkana, Texas, in St. Michael Hospital. Paul was born on February 17, 1942 in Prescott, Arkansas, to William Herman and Gertie Essie Spell. He was a truss builder and dry wall construction company owner and of the Christian faith. He loved playing cards and dominoes with family and friends, but most of all he was dedicated to his family.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, as well as his brother, Sunny Spell, and his son Stevie Spell, and is grandson, Jessie Spell, as well as other beloved family members. Survivors include: His wife, Mary Spell, his sons, Joe and Terry Spell, siblings, Teddy Spell and Sharon Batchelor; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be at 1:00 PM and funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Brazzel-Cornish funeral home in Prescott, Arkansas, with Bro. Neal Ridling and T.J. Spell officiating. Burial will follow at Moscow Cemetery in Prescott, Arkansas.
