Obituary

Mrs. Pauline Blevins, age 96 of Nubbin Hill Community, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 in Hope, Arkansas. Mrs. Blevins was born April 1, 1919 in Hollywood, Arkansas to J. W. and Stella Box Baker. She was a homemaker and a member of Missionary Grove Baptist Church in Nubbin Hill for 85 years. Mrs. Blevins loved to work in her garden and her favorite time of the day was spent reading her bible. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. Mrs. Blevins was truly a member of the last of a great generation homemaker making her home, family and church priority. Mrs. Blevins is preceded in death by her parents, husband Connie Blevins, two daughters, Janet Blevins and Paula Jackson and one brother Joe Baker. Survivors include one son; Lindsay Blevins and wife Cheryl of Nubbin Hill, two daughters; Kay Hendrix and husband David of Nubbin Hill and Cathy Ridling of Nubbin Hill, two sisters; Edith May and husband Bert of Delight, Arkansas and Ruby Wicker of Caney, Arkansas, twelve grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00pm, Monday, August 17, 2015 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Funeral services; 10:00am, Tuesday, August, 18, 2015 at Missionary Grove Baptist Church in Nubbin Hill with Bro. Neil Ridling and Bro. Mike Puckett officiating.
