MRS. PAULINE HARRIS KING , 83, of HOPE, ARKANSAS, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Medical Park Hospital, Hope, Ark. after a brief illness. She was born in Vian, Okla. on April 9, 1924 to Theresa and Asmon Harris. She was a retired nurse at the Hempstead County Memorial Hospital where she was affectionately referred to as the South Wing Administrator . For many years she was an active member of the Hempstead County Genealogy Society and the Hope Photography Club. Having a love for travel, she and her late husband, A.B., traveled in all 48 contiguous states. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Hope, Ark. and the Radiant Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, A. B. King, who died March 6, 2006; by her parents; and by two sisters, Alline Linthicum and Irene Harris. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: FOUR BROTHERS: John T. Harris and Hattie, Hot Springs, Ark.; Dr. Donald Ray Harris and Ann, Little Rock, Ark.; Richard Harris and Charlotte, Lewisville, Ark.; Asmon Harris, Jr. and June, Tunnell Hill, Georgia; TWO SISTERS: Geneva Waldrop, Hope, Ark.; Rema George and Tommy, Mobile, Alabama MANY NIECES AND NEPHEWS INCLUDING TWO SPECIAL NEPHEWS: Bruce Ramsey, Texarkana, Texas; Dennis Ramsey, Hope, Arkansas AND THE SPECIAL FRIENDS IN HER RADIANT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS AND THE RESIDENTS AND STAFF OF HOPE HAVEN RETIREMENT HOME. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2007, at Brazzel/Oakcreset Funeral Home, Hope, Ark., with Rev. Earl Cumbie officiating.
