Mrs. Pearl Hunter Thrasher, 85 of South Haven, Mississippi, (Formerly of Laneburg, Arkansas) passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010, at Graceland Care Center, New Albany, Mississippi. She was born August 21, 1924, to Wesley and Laura Whitten Hunter. She was a homemaker and member of First Assembly of God Church, Prescott, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Sinnett Thrasher; Four Brothers: Reuben Earl - (her twin), Noah, Elvin, and Ira Hunter; and One Sister: Velma Hunter Gregory. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: ONE DAUGHTER: Patricia Reese and John Michael, South Haven, Mississippi. ONE SISTER: Denver Casey Hunter, North Little Rock, Arkansas. TWO GRANDDAUGHTERS: Laura Karen Leimer and Carl, Norfolk, Virginia. Kortni Reese, Newton, New Jersey HER SPECIAL PET CAT: Sylvester. and several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. GRAVESIDE SERVICES will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Laneburg Cemetery, Laneburg, Arkansas, with Rev. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial will follow.
