Mrs. Perna Belle Mason, 81 of Bodcaw passed away on Monday, June 8, 2009 in Hillcrest Care and Rehab in Prescott, Arkansas. She was born in Falcon, Ark. on May 11, 1928 to Kelly and Pearl Dodson Taylor. She was a homemaker and seamstress and a member of Corinth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, whom she had married in September 1945, Vester O. Mason, who died in 1996; and a granddaughter, Kristie Mason, who died in 1986. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Three Sons: Arval Mason and Gail, Bodcaw, Ark. Tim Mason and Joyce, Bodcaw, Ark. Wayne Mason and Kelly, Little Rock, Ark. One Daughter: Susan Denise Mason Teague and Gary, Camden, Ark. And Nine Grandchildren and Ten Great-Grandchildren. FUNERAL SERVICE will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 11, 2009, Corinth Baptist Church, Bodcaw, Arkansas, with Rev. Billy Mack Russell and Rev. Jerry Evans officiating. Burial to follow in Union Cemetery, Bodcaw, Arkansas. Arrangements by BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope, Ark.
