Mr. Raymond Gray, age 92 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021 at home. Raymond was born on February 2, 1929, in Washington, Arkansas to Thomas and Cora May Griffin Gray. After 20 years of service, he retired from the United States Marine Corps as a GySgt, having served in Korea, Vietnam and South Pacific. He spent his retired years working for Huff Construction and Hope Novelty. He was also a member of Garrett Memorial Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Margie Weems, Evelyn Thompson, Frances Damon, and Pat Ward; brothers, Tommy, Kenneth, Herschel, Jimmy Gray and one grandson, Billy Sanders.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 70 years, Betty Gray; daughters, Brenda Sanders (Bill) of Spring Hill, AR, Teddy Thurman (Phil) of Blevins, AR, Sherry Guzauskas (Jim) of Jupiter, FL; Brothers, Bill Gray (Sue) of Hope, AR and Bobby Gray (Marilyn) of DeAnn, AR; six grandchildren, David Thurman, Amy May (Thurman), Danny Sanders, Nathan Meyerowich, Raechel Meyerowich, Valerie Meyerowich; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 12:00pm to 1:30pm on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest 1001 South Main St. Hope, Arkansas.

Graveside service will be 2:00pm on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Bro. Clif Johnson officiating. Military Honors and Burial to follow.
