Mr. Richard Harlon Cox, age 47, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away, Monday December 3, 2012, at his home in Hope. He was born December 22, 1964, in Hope, Arkansas to Jimmy Cox and Linda McRoy Booker and was a Christian man. Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Linda McRoy Cox Booker and his grandmother; Mrs. Vester Jones. Mr. Cox is survived by his father, Jimmy Cox and wife Ellie of Hope, a brother Marcus Turley of Little Rock, Arkansas, three sisters, Kathy Cox May of Texarkana, Texas, Stacey Alvarez of Hope, Kristine Hokett of Little Rock, Arkansas, several nieces and nephews, and one special family member, Yvonne Fry. Visitation for Mr. Cox will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, December 7, at Brazzel/Oakcrest the Funeral Home of Hope. Funeral service for Mr. Cox will be 10:00 am, Saturday, December 8, at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel, Rev. Revel Kidd officiating. Burial will follow at Huckabee Cemetery in Hope.
