Mr. Richard Thomas "Joe Ready" May age 61 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at his home. Richard was born March 15, 1958 in Hope to John Thomas and Shirley Jean Vines May. He was a self-employed truck driver and drove for May's Butane Gas Co for over 20 years. His favorite hobbies included riding motorcycles, playing golf, watching movies, sports-baseball, football, knowledge of useless trivia, and reading. Richard was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, and family man. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include two daughters, Karolyn May (James Yates), Jacqueline May, two sisters, Vickey Barthel, Brenda Oliver (Jeff), five grandchildren, Madison, Christian, Dominic, Ayden, Kaylea, and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Friday, November 8, 2019 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main St. Hope, Arkansas 71801.

Funeral Service will be 10:00am, Saturday, November 9, 2019 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Mr. Harold Freeman and Mr. Ronnie Freeman officiating.
