Mr. Robert Wilford Bob Parham, 78 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Thursday, May 19, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Bob was born Tuesday, August 30, 1932 in Temperance Hill, Arkansas to Wiley Jennings and Louise Gray Parham. Mr. Parham was preceded to by his parents, two brothers; Wiley Parham, Jr. and Charles Parham and a sister, Carolyn Cummings. Mr. Parham was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hope and a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of the Whitfield Lodge #239 (a 32nd Degree Mason), member for 50 years of Century Bible Class, Hope Melody Boys, Golden K. Kiwanis Club of Hope, member of OES #238 and a member of American Border Collie Dog Association. Survivors include; wife, Margaret Parham of Hope, two daughters; Sharron Bowen and Ken of Liberty, Missouri, Lisa Boyce and Wesley of Conway, Arkansas, brother; Edward Parham and Clora of Fordyce, Arkansas, two sisters; Lolah Daniel and husband, David of Springdale, Arkansas and Mary Beth Mann and husband, Russell Carney of Springfield, Missouri, two sisters-in-law; Johnette Parham and Natalie Parham, five grandchildren, Mitch Harris, Carrie Bingham, Eli Bowen, Taylor Boyce and Emily Bowen and one great-grandchild, Ellie Bingham and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, May 21 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Funeral service 3:00pm, Sunday, May 22, 2011 at First United Methodist Church of Hope.
