Robert Larry Matthews, Jr., age 53 of Hope Arkansas, passed away March 29, 2024, in Little Rock Arkansas. Robby was born June 1, 1970,  in Texarkana, Texas, to his parents, Robert Larry Matthews, Sr., and Janis Sue Matthews.

His passions and excellence were in music and art. He was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with his sisters, brothers, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Larry Matthews, Sr., mother Janis Sue Matthews, and nephew Wade Owen Whatley.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Malissa Ann Murray (Bill), Marla Michelle Matthews, and brothers, John Wesley Matthews and Chris Matthews, nephews and nieces;  John David Holt, Emily Nicole Whatley (Matt), Brandon Chase Hall (Melissa), Heather Michelle Langston (Matt), Rachel Catherine Taylor (Trey), and uncles, Jimmie Clyde Ladd (Katie), and Donald Ray Matthews (Susan), along with a number of other family members and friends.

Services will be private family only.
