MR. ROGER DALE WICKER, SR., 62, of Prescott, Ark., died suddenly on Friday, December 26, 2008 at his home. He was born on September 6, 1946, in Cale, Ark., to John H. and Bradice May Wicker. Roger was a self-employed timber buyer, logger and sawmill owner. He was also a Veteran of the Army and National Guard. He was preceded in death by his father. Roger was a kind and loving man who will be missed by all that knew him. HE LEAVES TO CHERISH HIS MEMORY: The love of his life for 27 ½ years, His Wife: Maryrose Horn Wicker, Prescott, Ark. Two Sons: Roger Wicker, Jr. and Jeannie, Rosston, Ark. Kenneth Wicker and Debbie, South Carolina. His Mother: Bradice Wicker, Prescott, Ark. One Brother: David Wicker and Mary Jane, North Carolina. Two Sisters: Deb Owen and Elbert, Star City, Ark. Diane Pruitt and David, Gurdon, Ark. One Grandson: Gregory E. Wicker, Rosston, Ark. Special Nephew and Niece: Bret Wicker and Nina Wicker, Prescott, Ark. His Devoted Pets: Maggie, Molly and Baby Kitty, who he loved spending time with. And also uncles, aunts, nephews, cousins, great nephews and great nieces. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2008, at Laneburg United Pentecostal Church, Laneburg, Ark., with Rev. Raymond Hicks, Rev. Wilburn Wesson, and Rev. Mike Steed officiating.
