Mr. Ronald Everett "Ron" Dewey, 64, Hope, Arkansas, passed away in Ottawa, Kansas on Wednesday, March 4, 2009. Mr. Dewey was born in Terra Haute, Indiana, on August 12, 1944, to Everett and Sarah S. Dewey. He was a truck driver with American Eagle of Dallas and a former driver with 18 years of service with Southern Bakeries (formerly Meyers Bakery) of Hope, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents. SURVIVED BY: his wife of 27 years, Amanda Doty Dewey, Hope. Two sons; Craig Beck, Tampa, Florida and Justin Dewey, Hope. Daughter: Stacy Auld, Hope. One Brother: William "Bill" Dewey, Lebanon, Tennessee and One Sister: Barbara Smith, Terra Haute, Indiana. & several Nieces and Nephews. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2009, Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, Arkansas, with Mr. Harold Freeman officiating.
