MR. ROY EDWARD NATIONS, 81, of Spring Hill, Arkansas, passed away Friday, July 20, 2007, in National Park Hospital, Hot Springs, Ark. He was born on Nov.9, 1925, in Hempstead Co., Ark., to Will D. and Kate V. Sinyard Nations. He was a retired carpenter and former employee of Delta Engineering. He was a deacon and member of Bethany Baptist Church of Spring Hill, Ark. and a member of their Y.A.H.(Young-At-Heart); a member of the National Rifle Assoc. and a Navy Veteran of World War II. He was among the members of the U.S. Gwinn who at Tokoyo Bay watched the peace treaty be signed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Jewel McCorkle Nations, who died August 27, 2004; by four brothers, Barney, Elmer, Archie, and Floyd Nations; and by one sister, Mary Reese. ONE BROTHER: Elbert Nations and Elise, South Carolina; THREE SISTERS: Ola Mae Mullinax and Tommy, North Little Rock, Ark. Ruthie Chamlee, Texarkana, TX. Nellie Bobo and Guy, Spring Hill, Ark. NINE GRANDCHILDREN: Jimmy Brown Jr., Matthew Roy Brown, Tabitha Michelle Aaron, Jessica Renee Chance, Sheldon H. Smith, Justin Edward Smith, Jocelyn Courtney Smith, James Christopher Price, Mandy Ray. EIGHT GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Alexis Walraven; Bradin Layne Aaron, Kylie Elizabeth Smith, Josie Brown; Evan James Gibson Brown; Skyler Alderson Price; Laren Ray; Conner Ray.
