Mr. Roy Barton Smith, age 68 of Mineral Springs, Arkansas passed away, Thursday, June 22, 2017 in Texarkana, TX. Roy was of the Baptist faith, a steel mill worker and a US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.  He was born July 16, 1948 in Dierks, Arkansas to Barton and Edna Rose Burnett Smith, and his parents have preceded him in death, as well as a brother; Dalton Smith.

Roy is survived by his son and daughter-in-law; Brian and Stephanie Smith of Mineral Springs, a brother; Mickey Smith and his wife, Gwen of Arkadelphia, a sister; Judy Clayton, her husband, Charles of Hope and three grandchildren.
