Roy Thomas Williams, aged 93, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on September 4, 2025. Born on July 30, 1932, in Prattsville, Grant County, Arkansas, Roy was the beloved son of John Oliver Williams and Serepta Matilda (Reynolds) Williams.

Roy proudly served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Following his military service, he dedicated his career to ranching, retiring from Hope Livestock and J&J Livestock. On November 1, 1952, he married Nancy Lorene (Smith) Williams, with whom he shared a deep and enduring love.

He is preceded in death by his cherished wife, Nancy, his granddaughter, Rachael Beard, and his three brothers and three sisters.

Roy is survived by his loving children: Paul (Theresa) of Hope, AR; Tena (Larry) of Houston, TX; David (Sharyl) of Hope, AR; Audra (Rodney) of Russellville, AR; and Christy (John) of Plano, TX. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Audrey Fountain (Larry) of Nash, TX, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Roy will be fondly remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his honorable service to his country, and his years of hard work as a rancher.

Services will be held at a later date to honor his memory.
