Mrs. Ruth "Ludie" Chambers, age 97 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015. Mrs. Chambers was born October 31, 1918 in Patmos, Arkansas, to Lee Andrew and Florence Rebecca Kingery Sinyard. She was a member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church for 60 years and she was a great seamstress. Mrs. Chambers is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Florence Sinyard, her first husband, Hudie Byrom, her second husband, Carmel Chambers, seven brothers; Preston Sinyard, Elbert Sinyard, Harold Sinyard, Thomas Sinyard, Kingrey Sinyard, L.C. and C.L. Sinyard, four sisters; Georgia Bledsoe, Lillie May Byrom, Idella Toner, and Myrtle Madlock.

Survivors include: one son, Jerrel Byrom and his wife, Jamie, of Hope, Arkansas, one daughter, Doris Kidd of Spring Hill, Arkansas, two brothers; L.A. and Henry Sinyard, both of Hope, Arkansas, one sister, Bessie Taylor of Hope, Arkansas, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, twenty-one great-great grandchildren, and other family and friends.

Visitation is 12:00-2:00pm Monday, January 4, 2016 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.

Funeral service is 2:00pm Monday, January 4, 2016 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel with Rev. Revel Kidd officiating. Burial to follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Patmos, Arkansas.
