Mrs. Eleanor Ruth Howard, age 94, of Prescott, AR -  passed away August 23, 2017 at Heather Manor Nursing Home in Hope, AR.  She was born in Prescott July 1, 1923 to Harold and Annie Barnard, the youngest of seven children.  Ruth is preceded in death by both of her parents; four sisters Evelyn Kaczka, Grace Danielson, Margaret Buchanan & Frances Nading; her husband J. C. Howard and her oldest daughter Frances Milinowski.

Survivors include two daughters; Janice Howard of Hope, AR and Barbara Howard Batson of Memphis, TN, two granddaughters Tamera Borden and Debbie Jones, two grandsons Damion Batson and Brannon Batson, 6 great-grandsons (Daniel James, William Borden, Benjamin Borden, Caleb Hendrix, Oliver Batson and Rhett Batson) and 1 great-granddaughter (Vickie Jones).

Visitation is at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home 1196 Hwy. 371 W Prescott, AR.

Funeral service is at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Cornish The Funeral Home with Bro. Ernie Sorrells officiating. Burial will be in DeAnne Cemetery in Prescott.
