Mrs. Ruth Sullivan of Belleville, IL formerly of Whelen Springs, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2018 with her family by her side in Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL. Ruth always said she was 39 and "holding" when asked her age. She was born in Lubbock, Texas to John William Ketchum and Lydia Eveleen Staggs on December 9.

Mrs. Sullivan is preceded in death by her parents, two daughters Bobbie Hankin Willis and Melody Ann Jenkins, three brothers Bobby Joe Ketchum, Pinkney Ray Ketchum and Charles Ketchum, seven sisters Ruby McNeeley, Mary Dorothy Willis, Betty Jean Henderson, Charlotte Cross, Wilma Greene, Margaret Hester.

Survivors include her son John Sullivan and wife, Christina of Belleville, IL, a brother John Ketchum, two sisters, Linda Sneed and Dixie Jennings, five grandchildren Dylan Sullivan, Katherine Jenkins Long, Candice Unfried, Kelli Jenkins Jones and Ken Jenkins and four great-grandchildren, other family member and friends.
