Mrs. Ruth C. Vinson, 90, of Hope, Arkansas, formerly of Rosston and Magnolia, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Medical Park Hospital, Hope, Arkansas. She was born October 14, 1919, in Columbia, County, Arkansas to Albert and Mattie Skaggs Hinson. She was a Homemaker and Mother; a member of the Rosston Baptist Church, Rosston, Arkansas; and formerly a member of Marysville United Methodist Church in Columbia County, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lavelle E. Vinson; one son, Snooky Vinson; and eleven brothers and sisters. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: TWO DAUGHTERS: Mary S. Wheelington, Rosston, Arkansas. Carolyn Knox, Springhill, Louisiana. TWO GRANDCHILDREN: Susan McLain, Springhill, Louisiana. Amy Sessions, Taylor, Arkansas. FOUR GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Colby, Patrick, Drew and Sam. AND A NUMBER OF OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. FUNERAL SERVICE will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at Marysville United Methodist Church, Columbia County, Arkansas, with Rev. Petey Ward officiating.
