Mr. Sam Gammill Jr., age 62 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 in Texarkana, Texas. He was born October 14, 1952 in Hope, Arkansas to Sam and Mable Cole Gammill. Mr. Gammill was a member of the Church of Christ. He was an avid Razorback fan and he enjoyed taking trips with friends at the workshop. Mr. Gammill was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister-in-law, Brenda Delony Gammill. Survivors include: one brother, Don Gammill of Hope, Arkansas, two sisters; Jane Tunstall and her husband, Donald, of Hope, Arkansas, Carolyn Lamb and her husband, Roger, of Biloxi, Mississippi, a special great-neice, Elizabeth Tankersley, a special great-nephew, Drew Tankersley, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and his favorite companion and beloved dog, Banjo. Visitation is 1:00-2:00pm, Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Funeral service is 2:00pm, Tuesday May 26, 2015 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel with Mr. Barry Haynes officiating.
