Mrs. Sandra Walker, age 79 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away, Sunday, November 2, 2014, at Laurel Place in Hope, Arkansas. Mrs. Walker was born November 2, 1935, in Dallas, Texas to William and Vera Dorothy Lindsey. Mrs. Walker was retired from Sears after 30 years, as a Parts Clerk, and was a member of the Cowboy Church of Ellis County, Texas. Mrs. Walker was a diehard sports fan, she enjoyed football, baseball and Nascar. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Walker is survived by her sons, Jimmy Cook and wife Lisa of DeSoto, Texas, William Sterling Cook of Prescott and Floyd Payne and wife Debra of Prescott, Arkansas, Daughter, Debbie Cowart and husband Bennie of Red Oak, Texas, sisters, Suzanne Jester of Houston, Texas and Carol Harrison and husband Clark of Coolidge, Texas, grandchildren, Margie Akin, James Payne, Kristie Long, William S. Cook, Jr., Stephanie Jones, Lindsey Cook, Matt Cook, Holly and Thomas, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Walker will be 1:00 to 2:00pm, Friday, November 7, 2014, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Memorial service for Mrs. Walker will be 2:00pm, Friday, November 7, 2014, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Hightower officiating.
