Mrs. Saundra Hargis, age 73, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Monday September 11, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. Saundra was born on July 15, 1950, to J.C. And Vonciel Terry Winemiller. She graduated with a BSE degree from Henderson State University and retired after teaching for more than 28 years. She taught in public schools in Cale, Spring Hill, and Hope, Arkansas, Moore, Oklahoma, and Garrett Memorial Christian School. She also was a member of Unity Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Wade Hargis.

Survivors include husband of 54 years, Junior Hargis, daughter, Wendy Cavaneau, husband Nick of Benton, Arkansas, four grandchildren, Drake Hargis, Emma Cavaneau, Win Cavaneau, Lily Cavaneau, a brother, Mike Winemiller, wife Pat of Rosston, Arkansas, nephew Jerod Winemiller, niece Cari Winemiller, and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday September 13, 2023, at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest 1001 South Main Street 71801.
