Sharon Catherine Otis, age 85, of Hope, Arkansas passed away on March 7, 2026.

Mrs. Otis was born on January 16, 1941, in Owensville, Arkansas to her parents, Dudge and Ludie Riter James. Her favorite past-time was studying genealogy, and she was an avid camper. Her and her husband, Bill, were camp hosts for 22 years at Charleton.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, John James; four sisters, Cleo Huchingson, Cleta Hollingsworth, Faye Hollihan, Delana Maloy; and one granddaughter, Malissa Satterwhite; one great grandson, Bradin Sinyard.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 66 years, Bill Otis of Hope, Arkansas; two sons, Bill Otis II (Angela) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jeff Otis (Angel) of Hope, Arkansas; one daughter, Cathy Aaron (Gary) of Hope, Arkansas; one brother, Rex James of Malvern, Arkansas; one sister, Karen Maloy of Beebe, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Tyler Otis, Kyle Otis, Christy Burns, Morgan Satterwhite, Tabitha Thrash, Jeffrey Otis, Brandon Otis, Courtney Otis; nineteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026, at First Baptist Church with Bro. Daniel Bramlett officiating under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home.
