Mrs. Shirlie E. Garner, age 68 of Blanchard, Louisiana, passed away, Thursday, February 7, 2013 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born August 25, 1944 in the state of Washington to James R. and Frances Pratt. She was a home maker and is a retired employee from A.T.& T. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy Garner, who passed away in 2011, and her two sisters; Bev Hall and Jean Martin. Shirlie will be greatly missed by her family, her friends and Precious . Survivors include her two daughters; Bonnie Green of Hilliard, Florida and Brenda Roy of Newark, Texas, her brothers; Jim Pratt of Aurora, Colorado, John Pratt of Kettle Falls, Washington, Pat Pratt of Collierville, Washington, her sisters; Barbie Ruzicka of Moyie Springs, Idaho and Linda Ferderer of Missaual, Montana, Six grandchildren: Kesia M. Colvin, James R. Wilcox, Heather G. Thomas, Amber N. Green, Chad A. Green and Samantha L. Green, five great-grandchildren; Aaron Thomas, Alyssa Thomas, Jacob Wilcox, Jasmine Wilcox and David Colvin, other family members and friends. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm, Monday, February 11, at the Blanchard Nazarene Church 251 North Main Shreveport, Louisiana 71107. Graveside service will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Huckabee Cemetery, Spring Hill, Arkansas with Bro. Lane Garner officiating. Burial to follow.
