Mrs. Snookie Tolleson, age 85 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Wednesday, March 5, 2014, in Texarkana. Snookie was born April 23, 1928, in Hope, Arkansas to Grady and Varle Bailey Hairston. She was a member of Garrett Memorial Baptist Church in Hope and a homemaker. Snookie was a devout Christian and devoted to her family. One of her favorite hobbies was gardening. Mrs. Tolleson was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Lucky Tolleson, her parents, son, Steve Tolleson, and sister June Parris. Mrs. Tolleson is survived by her son, Mike Tolleson and wife Janet, of Hope, Arkansas, grandchildren, Michael Tolleson and Fiancé Lauren Wilson of Hope, Ashley Moritz and husband Billy of Hope, Chris Monroe and wife Allison of Daphne Alabama, Drew Monroe and wife Leah of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Beth Dennis and husband Michael of North Little Rock, Arkansas. Great-grandchildren, Molly, Cameron, Will, Matthew, Lilly, Owen, Joseph, Aden and Benaiah and one special companion, Barry Brown. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00pm, Friday, March 7, 2014, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 4:00pm, Friday, March 7, 2014, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope with Dr. Larry Silvey officiating.
