Mr. Stephen Andrew Scooter Arnett, age 19, of Emmet, Arkansas, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013. He was born September 16, 1993, in Hope, Arkansas, to Billy Arnett and Patricia Pamplin. He was a Private First Class in the Prescott Unit of the Arkansas National Guard and of the Baptist faith. His greatest passion was playing Curley Wolf Football. He loved to hunt, fish and hang out with friends. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Billy Jo and Jo Ann Arnett, maternal grandfather, Robert Pamplin and a sister Megan Arnett. Mr. Arnett is survived by his father, Billy Arnett and wife Melanie of Emmet, mother, Patricia Pamplin of Fountain Hill, Arkansas, maternal grandmother, Kathy Pamplin of Fountain Hill, fianc, Loretta Auld of Perrytown, Arkansas, two brothers, Timothy and Alex of Emmet, a sister, Heather Brock and husband John of Crossett, Arkansas, two nephews, Kayden and Kyler Brock, numerous other family members and a host of friends. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 18, at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Funeral service for Mr. Arnett will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 19, at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel, Bro. John Nations officiating. Burial will follow in Snell Cemetery in Emmet.
