Mrs. Sue Mincy, age 78, of Hope, Arkansas formerly of Amarillo, Texas, passed away, Monday April 21, 2014, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born May 28, 1935, in Chillicothe, Texas to Garland L. and Winona McMichael Smith. Mrs. Mincy was a retail clerk and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hope. She loved family time, playing games, and fishing, and loved her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Mincy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, R.C. Mincy, and brothers, Don Smith and Jimmy Smith. Mrs. Mincy is survived by her son, Melvin Tomlinson of Ft. Worth, Texas, daughters, Susan O'Bryant and husband Max of Hope, and Glenda Jenkins and husband Johnny of Glenwood, Arkansas, sister, Jan Terry and husband Bill of Boise City, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Stacy Cowart, Becky Jenkins, Jessica Naramore and Bradley O'Bryant, and three great-grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Wednesday April 23, 2014, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel, with Bro. Mark Fisher officiating burial will follow in Pleasant Home Cemetery in Murfreesboro, Arkansas.
