MRS. SYBIL L. GAUTSCHE SHERMAN, 87, Benton, Arkansas (Formerly of Prescott, Arkansas) passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2010, at Saline Memorial Hospital, Benton, Ark. She was born on December 7, 1922, in Laneburg, Ark., to Samuel and Kieffer Glass Gautsche. She was a retired legal secretary. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Melvin Sherman; one brother, Sam Gautsche and three sisters Dorothy Abel, Bobbie Gautsche and Shirley Keen. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: ONE DAUGHTER: Polly Caldwell and Joe, Benton, Arkansas. One Grandson: Scott Caldwell and Kristen, Rogers, Ark. One Great-Granddaughter: Lily Catherine Caldwell, Rogers, Ark. And Other Relatives and Friends. FAMILY GRAVESIDE SERVICES will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 15, 2010, at Laneburg Cemetery, Laneburg, Arkansas, with Rev. Jerry Westmoreland officiating.
