MR. THOMAS MARTIN BARBER, 87, of MCCASKILL, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at Howard Memorial Hospital, Nashville, Ark. He was born in McCaskill, Ark. on Dec.12, 1919 to William Thomas and Era Bernice Blakely Barber.He served with the United States Air Force in England from October 17, 1941 to February 24, 1946, as part of the ground crew for the A.A.F Base Depot. He later worked for the University of Arkansas Experiment Station at Hope, where he retired after 25 years in 1985. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Thomas Thad Downen; and one sister, Estelle Parker. HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE: HIS WIFE: (of 61 years) Elizabeth Mary Barber, McCaskill, Ark.
