Mr. Thomas "Tommy" Farrell Hamm, age 70 of Hope, passed away, Sunday, September 06, 2015 in Texarkana, Texas. Tommy was born in Hope, Arkansas on August 9, 1945 to Gerald and Cleo Arterbury Hamm. He was a retired sprinkler fitter, a member of local union #669, a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Bodcaw #1 Baptist Church in Bodcaw. He loved to go fishing and hunting; and traveling to see new places. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers; Donald and Floyd Hamm. Survivors include; three sons; Chad, Shane and Michael Hamm, his special friend, Mary Hinton of Perrytown and nephew, Dr. Darren Hamm. It is Tommy's request that in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the St. Jude Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee or to the Boy Scouts: Texarkana Troop #13 or to the Boy Scout Troop of Hope. Visitation; 6:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope, AR Graveside service will be 4:00pm, Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Bodcaw #1 Cemetery with Bro. Lane Garner officiating.
