Mr. Tom Shapley, 68 of Blevins, Arkansas passed away, Thursday, October 27, 2011 in Texarkana, Arkansas. He was born in Blevins, Arkansas on February 16, 1943 to John B. and Lois Sutton Shapley. He was a retired Logger and Farmer and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Hope. Mr. Shapley is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Delmar and Hilton Shapley. He is survived by two brothers; Johnny Shapley and wife, Bonnie of Hope, Bill Shapley and wife, Myrlene of Hope, two sisters; Laurice Honea of Blevins, Betty Warren and husband, Mike of Little Rock and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The Shapley Family will receive friends between 6:00 and 8:00pm, Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Funeral service for Mr. Shapley will be 2:00pm, Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home Chapel of Hope. Bro. Jimmy Teeter and Bro. Jonathan Shapley will officiate.
