Mr. Tom Cornelius age 64, of Prescott, Arkansas (Nubbin Hill) Community passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 at his home. He was born Saturday, May 13, 1950 in Prescott, Arkansas to Lewis and Irene Blevins Cornelius. Tom was a retired Maintenance Manager with Firestone, a member of the Missionary Grove Baptist Church, a member of the Crawley Hunting Club and a volunteer fireman with the Fairhills Fire Department. Tom was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all that knew him. Tom was a very avid hunter and fishing, and spending time outdoors. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, of 16 years, Barbara Glass Cornelius of Nubbin Hill, son; John Cornelius, wife, Brittany of Nubbin Hill, two step-sons; Tony Overton of Spring Hill, Arkansas and Aaron Morton and wife Lindsay of Hope, daughter; Traci Reese, husband, Rick of Vaccaville, California, step-daughter; Kim Formby and husband Al of Prescott, a brother; Jim Cornelius of Nubbin Hill, three sisters; Judy Matthews of Jacksonville, Jo Ridling and Donna Dixon both of Nubbin Hill, 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, other family members and friends Visitation, 6:00 to 8:00pm, Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Funeral service, 2:00pm, Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Missionary Grove Cemetery (Nubbin Hill) with Bro. Neil Ridling and Bro.
