Obituary

Mr. Robert Thomas "Tom" Page, 94, formerly of Washington, Ark. passed quietly in his sleep on Dec. 15, at the home of his son,in Justin, TX, where he had resided for the past few years. He was born Dec. 7, 1913, in Washington to James R. and May Turner Page. He was a retired farmer and also worked for many years as a salesman for Booth Furniture Co. in Texarkana, Ark. He had served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the European Theater. His hobby and passion for many years was research in his family genealogy. He was a Presbyterian. He was preceded in death by his wife, Trudie Muriel Davidson Page, two brothers Turner Page (infant), James R. Page, and two sisters Mary Calhoun Wright and Jessie Bruce Easterling. Survivors include his son, Michael Page and wife Shannon of Justin, Texas, three sisters, Sarah Settlemyer of Dallas, Texas, Elizabeth Warner of Lancaster, Texas and Louise Walthall of Little Rock, Arkansas. Three grandchildren, Phillip Page of Atlanta, Texas, Andrew Page of Ft. Knox, Kentucky and Monica Griffin of Justin, Texas; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 10:30, Wed. Dec 19, 2007, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hope. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope, Ark. Family will receive friends: Tuesday, Dec. 18, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest.
