Mr. Tommy Janes, age 66 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away, Saturday, April 5, 2014 at his home in Prescott. Mr. Janes was born in Monroe, Louisiana on July 25, 1947 to I.A "Buddy" and Dorothy Fitzugh Janes. He was a self-employed merchant and former owner of Janes Grocery. He was currently working as a Para-professional for Prescott Public Schools. He was a member of the Prescott Church of Christ. He was a big fan of all sports, especially the Cardinals and the Razorbacks. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Kathie Wren Janes of Prescott, son; J. Wade Hildebrand, wife Kelly of Conway, brother; Jerry Janes, wife, Patricia of Hamburg, two grandchildren; Ava and Luke Hildebrand, and a host of family and friends. Graveside service, 2:00pm, Monday, April 7, 2014 at Harmony Cemetery in Sutton, (Harmony Community) with Mr. Lynn Vanderveer officiating. Burial will follow.
