Mrs. Toni Burns, age 81 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Burns was born December 24, 1934 in Houma, Louisiana to Alphonse and Madeline Lovell Comeaux. She was a member of West Side Church of Christ in Prescott, Arkansas and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alphonse and Madeline Comeaux, her husband of 57 years Delmore "Del" Burns, one daughter, Deone Powers, two grandchildren, Shannon Pauley and Angel Burns, Four brothers, Virgis, Alphonse, Charles and Russell Comeaux, three sisters, Mary Liner, Theresa Comeaux and Audrey Applegate.
Survivors include: two sons; Mark Burns and his wife Bonnie of Hope, Arkansas and Dwayne Burns of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, one daughter; Adeline Wyatt of Texarkana, Texas, one son-in-law Dan Powers and his wife Birdie of Brownfield, Texas, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, one special great grandson Dominic May and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends

Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00pm Monday, March 14, 2016 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
Funeral Service is 10:00 am Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Central Church of Christ with Mr. Harold Freeman and Mr. Buddy Nall officiating. Burial to follow in Central Cemetery.
