Mrs. Treva H. Harper, age 77 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in Texarkana, Texas. She was born in West Liberty, Kentucky on August 13, 1940 to James Denzil Short and Vernie Golden Ferguson. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of Unity Baptist Church in Hope. Mrs. Harper is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Basil Harper, son James Basil Harper, numerous brothers and sisters and two grand-daughters Cheryl Harper and Trish Jones.

Survivors include; three sons Greg "Harpo" Harper of Hope, Jody Harper wife Debbie of Arkadelphia and Randy Harper wife Tara of Youngstown, Ohio, four daughters Pam Fields and Rebecca Brown both of Hope, Renee` Jones husband Robert of Arkadelphia and Paula Harper of Arkadelphia, brothers Woody Short and wife Joan of Utah, Ray Short and wife, B.J. of Colorado and sister Faye Short of North Carolina, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Visitation, 4:00 to 6:00pm on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main in Hope.
