Obituary

Mrs. Twyla Frances Arnett, age 83 of Emmet, Arkansas passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Arnett was born in Sutton, Arkansas on January 4, 1934 to C.L. and Alta Bullock Bennett. She was a retired Social Worker for the Arkansas Department of Human Services, and a member of Harmony United Methodist Church in Sutton. She is preceded in death by her parents; C.L. and Alta Bennett.

Survivors include; her husband, William Arnett of Emmet, two daughters; Pamela Johnson of Texarkana, Arkansas and Kathy House and husband, Mike of Emmet, her brother; Dr. Charles Bennett of Kansas City, Kansas, a sister; Maggie Sue Garrett of Hope, four grandchildren: David Sanders, Dustin Sanders, Casey Purtle and Marisa Purtle, two great-grandchildren: Lilli Sanders and Cohen Sanders, three "grand-dogs", Bella, Chynna, and "Special" baby Riplei.

The Family wishes to express sincere appreciation to Arkadelphia Baptist Health and to Kindred Hospice, whose dedicated efforts, helped Twyla achieve her desire to spend her final days at home, enjoying final visits from her husband, children and grand-children.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00pm Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope. Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland will officiate. Burial in Snell Cemetery, Emmett. Visitation is one hour before the service, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.  Arrangements by BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director.
