Mrs. Vada Tackett Banks, age 87 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Friday April 9, 2021, in Texarkana, Texas, Vada was born on August 8,1933, in Pikeville, Kentucky to George and Mindy Newsome Tackett. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church and worked at the Rainbow of Challenges where she held many titles doing various jobs. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband Arthur Lee Banks, daughter Penny Loe, two grandsons, Casey Allen, and Jesse Banks, six brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include: four sons, Randy Banks, (Misty) Hope, Arkansas, Gary Lee Banks, (Cheryl) Patmos, Arkansas, Larry Don Banks (Tammy) Springdale, Arkansas, Steve Banks (Cindy) Springdale, Arkansas, daughter, Pamala Allen, Hot Springs, Arkansas. unofficial adopted daughter Yvetti Stockli, four brothers, Rance, Normal, Matthew, Arnold Tackett, one sister, Judy Lanham, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

No family visitation is planned.
