Vanessa Joan Bobo age 59, passed from this life January 18, 2023, surrounded by family at Wadley Regional Medical Center of Hope.

13 years ago, she changed career paths and went back to school. She was a certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA) at Encompass Rehab where she loved working with her patients and truly loved working with her work family. She was a devoted wife, dedicated mother to her children, a loving Nene to her grandchildren and her nieces and nephews. She was member of Bethany Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Doris Kidd.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Chad Bobo of almost 41 years; daughter, Lexie Calhoon (Mike); son, Briant Bobo; three grandchildren, Mazie Calhoon, Jaxson Bobo, and Mollie Kate Calhoon. Sisters; Deb Fisher (Bob), and Dianne Townsend (Scott) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers; Chris Townsend, Brad Townsend, Justin Fisher, Wade Townsend, Mike Calhoon, Taylor Bobo, Ross Townsend, Cole Townsend.

Visitation will be Saturday January 21, 2023 10:00AM till 11:00AM at Bethany Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM Saturday  at Bethany Baptist Church with Bro Eric Fisher and Bro. Revel Kidd officating. Burial will follow Holly Springs Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie Brazzel director.
