Mrs. Verda Mae Virden, 83, of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2009, at Christus St. Michael Hospital, Texarkana, Texas. She was born in Hope, Arkansas on January 11, 1926, to William Otis and Ivy Ruth Prince Honeycutt. She was a retired ward clerk with the former Nevada County Hospital; former member of an Emmet Bowling League and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, Prescott, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Edward S. Virden; and by one sister, Margaret Reed. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: One Son: Charles William Virden and Sheila, Prescott, Ark. Two Daughters: Brenda Hamilton, Emmet, Ark. Sandra Hulan and Wally, Prescott, Ark. Two Brothers: J. T. Honeycutt, Hope, Ark. Ray Honeycutt, Hope, Ark.
